Special Test TDT

TDT test is used to detect and measure listening fatigue. People with normal hearing hear a sound just above the absolute hearing threshold for 60 seconds continuously. The Sound Decay test provides a "decibel of decibel" measurement. h the number of decibels above the patient's absolute hearing threshold required for the sound to be heard for 60 seconds. A decrease of between 15 and 20 decibels indicates cochlear deafness and a decrease of more than 25 decibels indicates damage to the vestibulocochlear nerve.
